Olesen Data is a one man
company, founded by me, Benny Olesen, in spring
2004. After many good years in Damgaard Data,
Navision and Microsoft I decided to leave the safe
environs to work closer with the customer.
With respect to benefits, challenges and career
potential, there is probably no better place to work
than Microsoft in Vedbaek. I still felt that
something was missing, though.
After spending a number of years developing a module
or a set of new features, it can create an empty
feeling not to be part of the team who to bring the
new potential to the customer – and will the
features even be understood and used as originally
conceived?
In the development department you are often left
with such questions - and the customer probably also
has unanswered questions. Why does the application
work this way? What were the "nerds" thinking? and
so on and so forth.
Olesen Data will find answers to these questions. By
virtue of my background I can answer the customers
questions and the customer can provide feedback,
whether positive or negative, directly to the
